Friday was a day of all sorts of excitement! I wore this in the day.

The jeans: Previously posted medium wash jeans in a relaxed fit with a slight flare at the bottom. I thought the flare added to the over-all hippy look.
The top: I absolutely adore this light cotton breezy blouse from H&M. The ruffles wrap all the way around the shoulders and down the back and the draw string cinches a little below the natural waist. I loved how it billowed in the breeze! The flowery and polka dot embroidery just had me at hello. There was an orange variation which was unfortunately not available in my size, but I love this blue one too.
The shoes: Previously posted and much loved dark red wedge heels.
Accessories: I carried a black leather satchel and wore the previously posted silver chain and green hand made glass pendant, just doubled up the chain. I also wore this ring – I’m not sure what the work on it is called but I just adore it.
I’ve picked up a lot of updated retro items this summer and I think that kind of goes with my guilty-meat-eating, tree hugging, animal loving personality quite nicely. I call it ‘dressing my inner hippy’. Yes yes.
